This is one of the classic examples of this style of quilt that I have seen in years. The exquisite choice of color, design, and the way to the fine quilting and the choice of colors is what makes this quilt wonderful. The large central Traditional Sunshine and Shadows design is girded off into Diagonal 1-1/2” diamond grids thru the points of the central blocks. These grids are quilted with some finely spaced quilting of about 8 stitches per inch. The Framing that goes around this central bars motif is then quilted in a double flowing lines similar to an infinity pattern , possibly signifying there relationship to the Creator. This Lancaster blue strip is then framed with 4 large corner triangles of a beautiful natural cream color cloth to finish framing the central design. These large cream blocks are beautifully quilted with a large floral Morning glory quilting pattern that looks outstanding with this completed central design. Then an additional Lancaster blue banding surrounds the quilt yet again. and as the final finishing touch a large deep wine border is applied around the entire quilt , enhancing the beauty of the double feather wreath that undulates and meanders around the entire quilt. Additional stars are strategically placed into this border and the central cream blocks for enhancing the originality of this truly wonderful quilt.

The fabrics used are all 100% Cottons, the batting is a low loft Poly blend So that the quilting is highlighted to its fullest.
